Job description: Bodyshop MET Technician/Strip & Fitter

Pay: £25,000.00 - £40,000.00 per year

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 17.30pm

1 in 3 Saturdays

Benefits: 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

Toomey Motor Group Limited are currently looking to add a skilled & experienced MET Technician / Stripper & Fitter in Basildon Essex.We are looking for an experienced and highly efficient individual, As all work must be completed to the required standard first time. You will be a team player, Capable of managing your own workload, and must have your own tools and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a MET Technician / Stripper & Fitter (this is not essential).

The successful candidate will be required to carry out all types of vehicle body repairs, using appropriate methods on all makes of vehicles.

Candidates must:

Be a very experienced MET Technician / Stripper & Fitter
Ideally have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a MET Technician / Stripper & Fitter
Perform all aspects of Body fitting to a very high standard
Be experienced with Mechanical repairs
Have your own tools
Be able to manage your own workload
Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
Ability to work well within a team environment
Responsibility for cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the MET area
Excellent time management skills
Reliable
Hold a full UK driving licence
