Through workplace coaching, progress reviews and ongoing support, you'll play a key role in helping apprentices achieve their qualifications and reach their full potential.
Total People is looking to recruit a Learning Coach, delivering across Heavy Vehicle, HGV, Bus & Coach, Automotive, Mechanical Engineering and related engineering disciplines on a permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) basis, based at our site in Winsford.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging training, workplace assessment and developmental feedback, ensuring learners make strong progress and reach their full potential.
- Work closely with the employer and line managers to identify learning opportunities, monitor progress and provide guidance throughout the apprenticeship journey.
- Support learners and employers in preparing for End-Point Assessment (EPA), helping learners achieve the highest grade they are capable of.
- Create and maintain individual learning plans, tailored to learner and employer needs, including Maths and English development where required.
- Assess learner work and provide high-quality, constructive feedback that supports continuous improvement.
- Produce accurate reports against agreed performance targets and key performance indicators.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Essential
- Industry experience within engineering, manufacturing, HGV, trailer, or a related sector, supported by relevant qualifications and/or ongoing professional development.
- Experience of coaching, mentoring or training individuals to achieve their goals and develop new skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage, influence and support a wide range of learners and employers.
- A learner-focused approach, delivering high-quality coaching and support tailored to individual needs.
- Demonstrable ability to drive learner engagement, achievement and progression.
Desirable
- Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Maths, or willingness to achieve these qualifications.
- A Level 4 qualification or above in a relevant subject area.
- Teaching, training and/or assessing qualifications.
- Good ICT skills and confidence using digital learning platforms and systems.
