Accounts and Bursary Assistant

Required as soon as possible, full time, all year round

Boarding and Day Prep School in West Berkshire for boys and girls aged 2-13

Our new Accounts and Bursary Assistant will assist with the smooth and successful management of the school’s finances and the Bursary department. The Accounts & Bursary Assistant will have an understanding of bank reconciliations as well as purchase and sales ledger work with a willingness to be involved in all parts of the Bursary function. You will have an excellent attention to detail, be able to work independently, but also to seek support where needed. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will work efficiently, co-operatively and effectively, with staff individually and as part of a team and be able to communicate professionally at all levels.

If you are studying or would like to study for your professional examinations, we are happy to support you and we can discuss this as part of your interview. As we are in a semi-rural location, a full driving licence is recommended.

Set in 150 acres of stunning parkland in rural West Berkshire, Elstree welcomes boys and girls aged 2-13 years. Originally founded in 1848, it moved to its current location in 1939 and opened its Pre-Prep school in 1993. It offers boarding, both flexi and weekly, from Year 4 onwards.
