Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive IT Technician to provide technical support and maintain reliable IT systems across the business. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, networks, and user issues while supporting the company’s technology infrastructure.

Key Duties

Provide desktop and technical support across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Install, maintain, repair, and upgrade computers and related hardware.
Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and switches.
Support Windows Server, Active Directory, and software deployment through SCCM.
Manage help desk requests using ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy.
Troubleshoot Microsoft Office and other business applications.
Monitor network performance, resolve connectivity issues, and support IT security.
Provide clear, professional assistance to staff and escalate complex issues when required.

Requirements

Previous experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
Experience with Windows 10/11, macOS, Linux, and computer hardware.
Familiarity with Windows Server and Active Directory.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer-service skills.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Cisco CCNA are advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £41,700.00 per year
