Conference & Banqueting Waiter

Casual - £12.71 per hour 21+ years, £10.85 per hour 18-20 years

Sopwell House is a luxurious, family-owned Georgian country house hotel offering timeless elegance and modern comfort. We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic and guest-focused Conference & Banqueting Waiter to join our dedicated Conference & Banqueting team.

Your role in our family:

Deliver exceptional food and beverage service across conferences, weddings, banquets, private dining event and special occasions
Create memorable guest experiences by providing friendly, professional and personalised service throughout every event
Prepare meeting rooms and event spaces to the highest standards, ensuring every details is ready before guests arrive
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent presentation and service standards
Work closely with colleagues across the hotel to ensure every event runs smoothly from start to finish
Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling and maintaining beverage stock where required
Take pride in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for guest and colleagues

What would make you the perfect fit?

Previous experience within Conference & Banqueting, Events, Restaurant or Hotel Food & Beverage service would be advantageous
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service with a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, friendly and professional approach
Confident working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
A flexible team player who enjoys working collaboratively to deliver outstanding events
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within a luxury hospitality environment
Flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays in line with business needs.
