What you’ll be doing
· Prepare accounts using modern systems like IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
· Support onsite audits as part of the audit team, learning from experienced colleagues
· Draft corporation tax computations and assist with client queries
· Review and action points raised by managers and tax colleagues
· Act as a point of contact for clients on ad hoc matters
· Visit clients across the region and build strong professional relationships
What we’re looking for
We value enthusiasm and potential – not just experience
Essential
· AAT Level 3/4, or a degree, or 3 A Levels at A*-C (or equivalent)
· Willingness to learn and ambition to build a career in accountancy
· Strong communication skills – confident with clients face to face, on the phone and by email
· Good IT (Excel is your friend)
· Eye for detail and ability to check work thoroughly
· Proactive problem solver with good organisational skills
· Flexible, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities
· Willingness to travel to client sites
Nice to Have
· Relevant accounts or audit experience
· Familiarity with accountancy software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Iris)
· Previous experience in delivering excellent service
