Horrocks Waste Management is a growing waste processing and skip hire company looking for an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to join our busy yard operations team.

The Role
As a Loading Shovel Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a loading shovel safely and efficiently within a busy waste transfer environment.
Moving and managing various waste streams including:
- Wood
- Brick
- Soil
- General waste
- Recyclable materials
Loading various vehicles including:
- Walking floor trailers
- 8-wheel tippers
- Bulk tippers
- Grab wagons
Maintaining clear and organised yard areas.
Working closely with yard operatives and other machine operators to ensure smooth daily operations.
Following site health & safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.
Working Hours & Pay
Monday – Friday:
7:00am – 4:30pm
45 hours guaranteed per week
- £17.50 per hour basic rate
- Any hours worked over 45 hours paid at time and a half
- Saturday overtime may be available depending on operational requirements
