Full job description

We are looking to hire a Paralegal/Experienced Legal Secretary to work in our busy Family department.

We are looking for someone to be able to assist on all family file including liaising with clients, other side and barristers, completing forms and documentation as required, assisting with briefs and bundles. This will all be done under the supervision of the fee earner.

Ideally we would like someone who is familiar with using case management systems preferably LEAP and can use their own initiative to run the files, however full training by our Head of Department will be provided.

Legal knowledge or background is essential and experience within Family is preferred. Law Graduates will be considered for this role.

This role requires some commuting between offices and some out of the office work, therefore, a full clean driving license and own car are required, mileage on any required commuting is reimbursed.

Salary is dependant on experience. We offer free car parking and healthcare after a probationary period and offer other work incentives.

Whilst we do not currently have the capacity to recruit under a training contract, this role will amount to the Qualifying Work Experience required under the new SQE Qualifying route.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: From £25,000.00 per year
