Multi-Trade Operative / Bathroom Fitter Required
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Multi-Trade Operative with strong bathroom fitting experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be capable of carrying out a wide range of maintenance, refurbishment, and installation works, with a particular focus on complete bathroom refurbishments from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full bathroom installations and refurbishments
- Removal and replacement of baths, toilets, basins, showers, and bathroom furniture
- Wall and floor tiling
- First and second-fix plumbing works
- Bathroom preparation, including boarding, plastering, and making good
- Internal and external decorating
- Carpentry and joinery works, including fitting doors, skirting boards, architraves, and boxing-in pipework
- Plastering, patch repairs, and finishing works
- General property maintenance and refurbishment tasks
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative
- Demonstrable bathroom fitting experience, including plumbing, tiling, installation of sanitary ware, and finishing works
- Strong skills in plumbing, decorating, carpentry, and plastering
- Ability to manage bathroom projects from strip-out to final completion
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools preferred
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach
Desirable:
- Experience fitting wet rooms and walk-in showers
- Knowledge of waterproofing systems and bathroom ventilation requirements
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Ability to undertake additional trades such as flooring and basic electrical works
- Own tool preferable
- Own vehicle preferable
