Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time or full-time Yoga Instructor to join our Wellness team.

Under one roof we offer movement classes, baby spa and workshops for women and children. We work with the community offering services to reduce isolation in women and improve wellbeing. Our team is collaborative, supportive, and deeply committed to how people feel when they come through our doors. This role offers an opportunity to inspire individuals on their journey to physical and mental well-being through specialised yoga sessions. The position is remunerated and suitable for those committed to promoting health, mindfulness, and holistic fitness.

Duties

Lead engaging and inclusive yoga classes tailored to various skill levels and age groups
Develop customised lesson plans that incorporate different yoga styles and techniques
Ensure the safety of all participants by demonstrating proper postures and modifications
Provide guidance on breathing techniques, meditation, and relaxation methods
Monitor participants’ progress and offer personalised advice to enhance their practice
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming studio environment
Stay informed about the latest developments in yoga practices, anatomy, and wellness trends
Promote class bookings through social media or community outreach initiatives

Qualifications

Proven experience in Yoga teaching (1 years preferred)
Recognised Yoga Teacher certification (200 hours minimum, essential)
Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to yoga practice
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
Ability to adapt classes for individuals with varying needs or physical limitations
Passionate about health, wellness, and continuous personal development
Professional, reliable and punctual
Organised with the ability to manage multiple classes and schedules effectively

Preferred availability

Able to teach 2 - 4 classes per week
Availability for weekday mornings and/or evenings
