Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team.

In this vital role, you will support the day-to-day financial operations by managing accounts receivable processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with data entry tasks.

Your contribution will ensure smooth financial workflows and help uphold the integrity of our accounting systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced environment focused on excellence and precision.

The working hours are Monday- Friday, 8.30am-3pm

Duties

Raising sales invoices using the accounting software Sage
Manage data entry for invoices, receipts, and financial documents with precision and efficiency
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain healthy vendor relationships
Support month-end closing activities by organizing documentation and ensuring compliance with internal controls
Maintain organized records of all financial transactions, supporting audits and internal reviews
Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes related to accounts payable and data management

Requirements

Proven experience working with accounting software Sage is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of accounts payable procedures and financial services operations
Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and team members
A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the finance field
