We are looking for a Solar PV Project Engineer who can take ownership of the technical planning and successful delivery of our solar energy projects. You won't simply oversee installations—you will coordinate engineering, construction, and client expectations to ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with designers, installation teams, suppliers, and clients, turning complex technical requirements into successful renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery: Manage commercial and industrial Solar PV projects from initial planning through commissioning, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Technical Coordination: Collaborate with design engineers, installation teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
Engineering Review: Review system designs, technical drawings, engineering calculations, and project documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and UK regulations.
Site Management: Conduct site visits, monitor installation progress, resolve technical challenges, and maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
Client Communication: Act as the primary engineering contact for clients, providing project updates, technical guidance, and practical solutions while maintaining strong professional relationships.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: 3+ years of experience delivering Solar PV, electrical engineering, or renewable energy projects, with experience managing commercial installations preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Solar PV systems, electrical engineering principles, project management, and UK industry regulations.
Software Skills: Experience using AutoCAD, Solar PV design software, Microsoft Office, and project management platforms is highly desirable.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organisational abilities, with confidence coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing project priorities.
Mindset: You are proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused. You enjoy solving technical challenges, building strong working relationships, and delivering renewable energy projects that exceed client expectations.
Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
