Full job description

Mylor Yacht Harbour is a thriving marina, working harbour, full-service boatyard and holiday destination located on the beautiful Fal Estuary in Cornwall. With 180 marina berths, 240 swinging moorings, space ashore for over 400 boats, excellent facilities and 4-star holiday accommodation, Mylor is one of the leading marine centres on the south coast.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Mylor Yacht Harbour team as a Receptionist/Administrator. This role complements our existing team operating the busy Mylor reception area, welcoming and assisting customers, visitors and contractors, as well as offering admin support to the company. This is a permanent position, working 5 days per week – Sunday to Thursday– 37.5 hours.

Receptionist/Administrator Key Responsibilities:

· Providing outstanding customer service.

· Managing enquiries in person, over telephone and via email.

· Providing accurate information to enquirers.

· Communicating clearly with customers, contractors and other staff members.

· Taking payments and assisting with account queries.

· Providing administrative support to all areas of the business.

· Holiday accommodation bookings.

Candidate attributes we will look for:

· Friendly, approachable and helpful.

· Excellent communication and organisational skills.

· Computer literate with experience of MS Office package and databases.

· Strong initiative with the ability to adapt to changing situations.

· Ability to work within a team environment.

· Adept at multitasking.

· Attention to detail.
