About Ever After Events
Ever After Events is a growing entertainment company based in Saltash, Cornwall, specialising in creating unforgettable experiences for children, families, private clients and events.
We already have an established team of six princess performers and are continuing to expand our entertainment offering into exciting new areas.
We are currently looking for a talented, confident and versatile entertainer to join our team in a unique role combining two very different but equally exciting opportunities: performing as Santa Claus during the festive season and performing as a Vintage Vocalist at events throughout the year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves performing, entertaining and creating memorable experiences for audiences of all ages.
About the Role
We are looking for someone with personality, confidence, warmth and a genuine love for entertaining.
The role will involve performing as Santa Claus during the Christmas season, creating magical and memorable experiences for children and families.
Outside of the festive season, you will also have the opportunity to perform as a Vintage Vocalist at parties, celebrations, private events and special occasions.
We are looking for someone who can confidently engage with an audience, adapt to different environments and bring plenty of personality to every performance.
Your Responsibilities Will IncludeAs Santa Claus
- Performing as Santa Claus at Christmas events and festive appearances
- Attending children's parties, home visits, grottos, community events and special occasions
- Interacting warmly and confidently with children and families
- Staying in character throughout appearances
- Creating magical and personalised experiences
- Chatting, storytelling and improvising with children
- Working alongside elves and other Christmas characters where required
- Representing Ever After Events professionally and enthusiastically
As a Vintage Vocalist
- Performing a repertoire of vintage, retro and classic songs
- Singing at parties, celebrations, private events and special occasions
- Performing confidently in front of audiences
- Creating an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere
- Interacting with guests where appropriate
- Learning and maintaining an agreed repertoire
- Attending rehearsals and preparation sessions where required
- Working independently and alongside other Ever After Events entertainers
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Is a confident and capable singer
- Has strong stage presence
- Has a love for vintage, retro or classic music
- Is comfortable performing in front of audiences
- Has a warm, friendly and welcoming personality
- Is fantastic with children and families
- Has excellent improvisation and conversation skills
- Can confidently bring the character of Santa Claus to life
- Is reliable, punctual and professional
- Has plenty of personality and a great sense of humour
- Is comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Is happy working weekends, evenings and during the busy festive season
- Is willing to attend rehearsals and training where required
- Is able to travel to our Saltash base and events across Plymouth, Cornwall and the surrounding areas
Previous experience in singing, performing, acting, entertainment or working with children would be highly desirable, but we are ultimately looking for the right personality and someone who is passionate about creating brilliant experiences.

Pay: £20.00-£40.00 per hour
