Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Therapist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in orthodontic procedures, with a focus on patient care, clinical support, and technical expertise. As an Orthodontic Therapist, you will play a vital role in assisting orthodontists with treatment delivery, managing patient records, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice. Your expertise in CAD (Computer-Aided Design), medical imaging, and anatomy knowledge will be essential to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning. Responsibilities

Assist orthodontists during patient consultations, adjustments, and procedures with precision and professionalism.
Prepare and maintain orthodontic appliances, including braces, aligners, and retainers, ensuring proper fit and function.
Utilize CAD software for designing orthodontic appliances and assist in interpreting medical imaging to inform treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices specific to orthodontic care and provide post-treatment instructions to ensure optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment progress notes, imaging results, and appliance specifications.
Support infection control protocols by sterilizing equipment and maintaining a clean clinical environment in compliance with health standards.
Collaborate with the dental team to streamline workflow and enhance patient experience through effective communication and coordination.
Stay updated on advances in orthodontic technology, including anatomy knowledge and emerging CAD applications, to continually improve service quality.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Orthodontic Therapist or similar role within a dental practice or clinic.
Strong proficiency in CAD software relevant to orthodontics and familiarity with medical imaging techniques.
Solid understanding of human anatomy related to oral structures and facial bones to assist in precise appliance placement.
Excellent manual dexterity combined with attention to detail for appliance fabrication and adjustments.
Effective communication skills for patient education and team collaboration in a professional setting.
Certification or licensure as required by local regulatory bodies for orthodontic support staff.
A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and staying current with industry developments in orthodontics.
