We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic experienced Food Runner to our restaurant. Duties
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist with meal preparation, including plating dishes and preparing garnishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, ensuring that tables are set up correctly.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Help with basic kitchen tasks as needed, including food preparation and assisting cooks during busy periods.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with their meals.
- Uphold health and safety standards in all aspects of food handling and delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on phone etiquette when taking orders or making inquiries.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for culinary arts and food preparation is highly desirable.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members.
