Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our dental practice as Trainee Dental Nurse/Receptionists. This paid role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both patient care and administrative duties within a vibrant dental environment. You will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality dental services while developing essential skills in communication, organization, and healthcare support. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to help you succeed and grow in your career.

Duties

Welcome patients with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring they feel comfortable from arrival to departure
Assist the dental team during procedures by preparing equipment and materials, maintaining a clean and sterile environment
Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and patient records using IT systems efficiently
Answer phone calls promptly, providing clear information and directing inquiries appropriately
Support with administrative tasks such data entry, and managing correspondence
Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organized, and welcoming at all times
Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to health and safety protocols diligently

Skills

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and external contacts
Excellent organizational skills to manage appointments, records, and administrative tasks seamlessly
Basic IT skills for using practice management software and electronic health records
Compassionate approach with a focus on delivering outstanding patient care
Fluency in English to ensure clear communication within the team and with patients
Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills related to nursing support and reception duties
