Set in the heart of Lindley, the restored Georgian Manor House opened its doors in early 2018 offering first class facilities for leisure, business and celebrations. Furnished to an incredibly high standard Manor House Lindley will be a leading boutique hotel and events venue within the North of England. 11 individually designed guest rooms will be the epitome of style, offering a unique space to relax in luxurious surroundings.
Using the finest of local produce, dining areas will offer relaxing spaces for special occasions, informal daytime dining and glamorous private events. The Coach House will provide the perfect setting for celebrations and events whether they be a wedding, conference or gala dinner.
Numerous bars all with their own unique concept and character will become the place to be for evening drinks, expect the roof terrace to be bustling in the Summer months. Afternoon tea will be served in the beautiful Clock Tower bar opening onto a glorious terrace offering views of St Stephen’s church and the bustling local area.
As Head Pastry Chef you will;
- Manage all areas of Pastry within a 5*, 3 AA Rosette environment.
- Experience in an all fresh pastry section including breads, afternoon tea, desserts and petit fours.
- Establish an afternoon tea offering, known for it's excellence within Yorkshire.
- Display immense attention to detail.
- Ensure all areas of the hotel pastry are producing food on time, consistently and accurately
- Be involved in HACCP management and implementation
- Be capable of working to deadlines and within budgets
- Train and develop Junior members of the team
- Be involved in the development and execution of menu ideas and new techniques
- Manage and maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Manage the cleanliness of the kitchen
- Be capable of being engaged with members of the public
- Be involved in stock control and orders.
- Working alongside award winning senior chefs
- Expected to work across all sections of the kitchen
- Great attitude and willingness to learn and teach essential
- On-going personal training and development
