Full job description

Job Summary

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the commercial success of Montigo Resorts, Charlton House. Reporting directly to the Sales & Events Manager, this position is focused primarily on sales coordination and business development (70%), while also supporting marketing initiatives (30%) to increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and enhance guest engagement.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, commercially driven, and creative, with excellent communication skills and a passion for luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Sales (70%)

Assist in developing new corporate, agency, leisure, and group business opportunities.
Assist with contract administration and database management.
Attend networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows as required.
Conduct proactive sales activities, including lead generation, prospect research, and outbound sales calls.
Coordinate sales collateral, presentations, and promotional materials.
Coordinate site inspections, familiarisation visits, and client appointments.
Maintain accurate records within the CRM system, ensuring all enquiries, opportunities, and client interactions are up to date.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance analysis.
Respond promptly to sales enquiries, prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and follow-up communications.
Support account management by maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities for repeat business.
Support the Sales & Events Manager in achieving revenue targets across accommodation, meetings, events, weddings, spa, dining, and leisure segments.
Work closely with operational departments to ensure seamless delivery of confirmed business.

Marketing (30%)

Assist in executing the annual marketing plan in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
Assist in managing guest reviews, online reputation, and local partnerships.
Coordinate content creation for social media, email campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives.
Coordinate photography, video shoots, and content gathering across the resort.
Ensure all marketing communications reflect Montigo Resorts' brand identity and luxury positioning.
Liaise with external agencies, media partners, and suppliers when required.
Maintain marketing assets, brochures, digital content, and brand standards.
Monitor marketing campaign performance and produce reports using relevant analytics tools.
Support the planning and delivery of seasonal campaigns, special events, and promotional activities.
Update website content, promotional offers, and event listings where required.

General Responsibilities

Build positive relationships with colleagues, guests, suppliers, and business partners.
Ensure compliance with company policies, GDPR, health and safety, and brand standards.
Maintain confidentiality of commercial information.
Represent Montigo Resorts, Charlton House professionally at all times.
Support wider commercial initiatives and undertake additional duties as required.

Key Skills & Experience

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Commercial awareness with a proactive sales mindset.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
High attention to detail.
Previous experience in a sales, marketing, or commercial coordination role, preferably within hospitality.
Professional and confident telephone manner.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
