Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing expert pharmaceutical services to our community, ensuring safe and effective medication use, and supporting patient care initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified pharmacist committed to improving health outcomes within a community setting. Duties

Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently in accordance with legal and organisational standards
Providing expert advice on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions to patients
Offering personalised patient care, including medication reviews and health consultations
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimise medication therapy plans
Managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage of pharmaceuticals
Educating patients on lifestyle modifications and health management strategies
Maintaining comprehensive records of prescriptions and patient interactions in compliance with data protection regulations
Supporting public health initiatives such as vaccination programmes and health screenings

Qualifications

Fully qualified Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or equivalent regulatory body
Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting is desirable
ICU experience is advantageous but not essential; relevant clinical experience is valued
Strong knowledge of anatomy, pharmacology, and medication administration protocols
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Organised with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing and record keeping
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with current pharmaceutical practices
