Packing Operative
Permanent, Site based, Full Time, 38.75 hours Monday to Friday 11:00am to 7:30pm

Your new role:
As a Packing Operative, you will play a vital role in the final stage of the warehouse operation, ensuring all customer orders are checked, packed, and prepared for dispatch accurately and securely. You will be responsible for making sure goods meet customer requirements and are protected for safe delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
· Carry out final inspection of orders against packing lists to ensure accuracy
· Identify and report any discrepancies or non-conforming goods to a supervisor
· Pack consignments safely to prevent damage or loss in transit
· Follow special instructions or customer-specific packing requirements
· Clearly label consignments with correct packing list details
· Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your work area
· Work towards packing productivity targets (KPIs) and meet deadlines
· Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and safe manual handling practices
What you’ll need to succeed:
· Previous experience in a warehouse environment or pallet packing environment
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Good communication skills
· Level 2 literacy and numeracy (or equivalent)
· Familiarity with warehouse systems (e.g. SAP) is an advantage
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle fluctuating workloads
· Understanding of health & safety and safe working practices

This is a full-time, permanent position. Core hours of work are 11:00am to 7:30pm, Monday to Friday.
