We are seeking a professional and personable Service Advisor/Receptionist to join our automotive service team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and ensure a positive first impression.
- Manage customer appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as necessary.
- Handle customer enquiries both in person and over the telephone with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist customers in understanding recommended services and additional repairs or maintenance when appropriate.
- Process payments accurately, including cash handling and issuing invoices and receipts.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle histories.
- Liaise with the workshop to communicate customer concerns and service requirements effectively.
- Keep the reception area tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and updating customer information.
- Proven experience in customer service roles, ideally within the automotive industry or similar environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Mechanical knowledge or interest in vehicles is desirable to better assist customers with technical questions.
- Cash handling experience with accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Friendly demeanour with a professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to work well and remain calm under pressure while providing outstanding service to clients.
