Full job description

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our engineering team in North East Lincolnshire. This permanent, full-time position is essential for the fabrication and assembly of metal components, ensuring high-quality standards and efficiency in our production processes. The ideal candidate will contribute to our commitment to excellence and innovation in engineering.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components according to specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
Operate various sheet metal machinery, including shears, brakes, and relevant welding equipment.
Conduct quality checks to ensure all products meet required standards and specifications.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication process.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or in a similar fabrication role.
Proficiency with common metal fabrication techniques, tools, and relevant safety equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications in metalworking or engineering are advantageous.
Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
