Full job description

Customer Service & Retail Executive

Boston Blinds is a growing company, supplying blinds, shutters, curtains, and awnings across Lincolnshire. We own and operate an ecommerce site as well as manufacturing many of the blinds we sell.

We require a Customer Service Executive, based in our Spalding and Boston showrooms to serve our customers face to face, as well via Social Media Channels, Email and Telephone.

As an administrative role, you will use your skills to facilitate processing of customer orders through our industry leading software package. You will be responsible for booking in measuring and fitting appointments across Lincolnshire, along with managing the fitters diary, coordinating with the team all our showrooms.

Demonstrates conflict resolution. Negotiation, and de-escalation skills
Demonstrates ownership to resolve challenging customer issues and being able to escalate when necessary
Ability to determine customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
Guiding customers to the correct product for their needs

Problem solving skills

Effective problem solving skills including decision making, time management and task prioritisation
A logical and rational approach to problems is an essential requirement.

Organised and detailed
Creative, problem solving ability with a passion for excellent customer service

Communication skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Communicate correctly and clearly with all internal and external customers
Excellent documentation skills
Good comprehension skills – ability to clearly understand and state the issues that customers present
Good composition skills – ability to compose a grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written response
Work successfully in a team environment as well as independently

Computer knowledge and skills

Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office
Demonstrates a proficient knowledge of Social platforms such as WhatsApp, FB messenger
Excellent typing skills
Ability to adapt to changing to communication channels

Salary Range £24784 to 28000 depending on experience
