Job Overview

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity, eye health, and overall ocular function using advanced diagnostic tools.

Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, or other vision aids tailored to each patient's needs.
Provide patient education on eye health maintenance, proper use of eyewear, and preventive care strategies.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient treatment plans, especially for senior or special needs patients.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies.
Stay current with the latest advancements in optometry practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

Valid licensure as an Optometrist in the relevant jurisdiction with active certification to practice.
Proven experience delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical setting.
Strong knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology, and common eye conditions.
Ability to effectively communicate complex information clearly and compassionately to patients of all ages.
Experience providing care for senior populations or those requiring specialized attention is highly desirable.
