Group Editor

Lead two of the UK’s most influential technical media brands.

We’re looking for a Group Editor who can elevate both titles, drive editorial excellence, and shape the future of our content strategy across print, digital, video, and events.

What you’ll do

Set the editorial vision ensuring both brands deliver authoritative, engaging, and commercially aligned content.
Lead a small editorial team, freelancers, and contributors.
Own the content calendar across news, features, analysis, product coverage, and multimedia formats.
Build strong industry relationships with manufacturers, integrators, contractors, associations, and thought leaders.
Collaborate with commercial teams to support revenue growth while maintaining editorial integrity.
Drive digital performance through SEO‑led content, newsletters, social media, and audience engagement.
Represent the brands at industry events, roundtables, awards, and panel discussions.

Who we’re looking for

A senior editor or deputy editor with experience in B2B, technical, or trade media.
A confident communicator who can interview experts, moderate panels, and produce high‑quality copy under deadline.
Someone who thrives in a multi‑brand environment and can balance strategic thinking with hands‑on content creation.
Digital‑first mindset with experience in analytics, social, and multimedia storytelling.
