If so, join as a Quality Improvement & Compliance Lead at The Farndon Unit, a specialist service supporting women with complex Mental Health needs, including Personality Disorders.

This is a unique opportunity for you to lead with purpose and help shape a culture of clinical excellence across our specialist services. As our Quality Improvement & Compliance Lead, you’ll bring a collaborative mindset, confident communication, and a passion for continuous improvement that inspires those around you.

With a strong grasp of governance, safeguarding, and contractual reporting, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, you’ll be equipped to lead initiatives that not only meet standards but raise them. Your ability to analyse data with clarity, influence change with integrity, and embed best practice will help ensure our care remains safe, effective, and person-centred.

What you will be doing:

Quality Improvement & Compliance Lead, you’ll work closely with clinical teams and senior leaders:

To monitor completion of clinical quality audits and associated action plans
To oversee clinical competencies and ensure compliance throughout the unit
Oversee cascading of lessons learned and ensure changes are embedded
Provide assurances within the governance framework with regards to clinical quality compliance
To lead quality improvement initiatives within the unit
Work closely with the training department with maintaining high compliance
To ensure that both internal and external compliance measures are achieved and maintained and enabled to be evidenced
Monitor, report and escalate any clinical risks or concerns associated with audit processes
Support with trend analysis from audits and clinical information and escalate accordingly
Support the compilation of reports for governance and communicate findings and content within the meeting
To lead on service improvements initiatives based on internal and external repots and action plans

You’ll be a key driver of quality assurance, helping us maintain our CQC “Good” rating and build on our commitment to safe, responsive care.

What You’ll Bring:

Experience in Mental Health services and a solid understanding of governance, safeguarding, and contractual reporting
At least 2 years’ experience working within Mental Health Services
Experience of working within a framework of confidentiality
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging professionals at all levels
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher)
Ability to manage your workload independently, meet deadlines, and adapt under pressure
A flexible, reliable, and team-focused approach
Commitment to confidentiality, equal opportunities, and ongoing personal development

The Farndon Unit is a purpose-built hospital which provides services across low secure, rehabilitation and acute inpatient settings for women with Mental Health and personality disorder diagnoses.
