CNC Programmer Machinist

Join the Kurt J. Lesker Company as a CNC Programmer Machinist at our European Headquarters in St. Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex.

Key Responsibilities:-
Perform complex machining operations on CNC milling machines and read and understand G-code

Mentor fellow employees to resolve complex machining problems

Write and edit complex CNC programs to support production requirements providing optimum manufacturing cost and quality.

Set and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis machines

Read and understand Technical drawings

Produce quality parts in a timely manner

Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

Collaborate with machinists, Engineering, and Product/Production Management to solve problems and improve processes.

What you'll bring:
Required
-
ONC/HNC (Mechanical, Manufacturing Technology or Industrial Technology) or equivalent experience in a related field

Proven machining experience on CNC equipment or using CNC solid modeling (turning and milling)

Delcam or MasterCam Programming experience

Extensive knowledge of machine functions (G code, M code, Offsets, etc)
