Vehicle Technician / Mechanic (MOT Tester Preferred however not necessary)

LT Garage Ltd
Grampound, Cornwall (TR2 4SW)

Salary: From £20+ per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday with overtime opportunities
Start Date: Immediate

LT Garage Ltd is a busy, independent family-run garage in Grampound, Cornwall. We have built an excellent reputation for honest advice, high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our friendly team.

Whether you're an experienced mechanic or a qualified MOT Tester, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

Your day-to-day duties will include:

Servicing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
Brake, suspension and steering repairs
Timing belts, clutches and general mechanical work
Vehicle inspections and safety checks
MOT testing (if qualified)
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
Full UK Driving Licence
Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Pride in your workmanship
Reliable with a positive attitude
Able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

MOT Tester qualification (not essential)
