Full job description

Conneely Group are seeking an Assistant/ Graduate / Trainee Quantity Surveyor who is working towards their QS Qualification.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will assist with the commercial, surveying, and tender administration responsibilities across a range of live and prospective projects.

You will support the commercial team by compiling reports and schedules as required and undertaking general commercial and tender administrative duties, document control, managing emails and telephone enquiries, following up outstanding information, and maintaining an organised and professional commercial environment. You will be a keen learner, willing to support all commercial and tendering procedures required by the business.

You will be expected to:

Assist with the compilation of information required to complete monthly valuations.

Assist with subcontract payments carried out on a fortnightly basis.

Assist with the pricing and administration of variations.

Assist with compiling reports on costs and cash flows using the support systems available.

Support the preparation, coordination, and submission of tender documentation, ensuring all deadlines are met.

Maintain tender registers, monitor tender deadlines, and assist in tracking tender opportunities.

Coordinate with internal departments to obtain pricing, technical information, and supporting documentation required for tender submissions.

Ensure tender documentation is complete, accurate, compliant, and submitted in accordance with client requirements.

Maintain organised electronic and hard-copy records for commercial and tender documentation.

Attend team meetings as required.

Complete general departmental administration.

Provide other appropriate ad hoc duties and administrative support as required.

Maintain relevant filing systems, databases, and document control procedures.

Promote and act in accordance with Company values, systems, policies, and procedures.

Ensure compliance with Group IT systems.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:
