Are you an experienced HR professional looking to take the next step in your career? We're looking for an Assistant HR Business Partner to join our People team.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll provide high-quality HR support to your assigned business areas, ensuring people processes are delivered efficiently, consistently and in line with our values. Working closely with HR Business Partners, you'll support the delivery of People Plans, provide practical HR advice to managers and colleagues, and help drive continuous improvement across our people services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional HR advice and support to managers across your business areas.
- Manage employee relations casework, ensuring a consistent and values-led approach.
- Support the delivery of People Plans and wider people initiatives.
- Use HR data and insights to identify trends, support reporting and inform decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to support organisational change and workforce planning activity.
- Identify opportunities to improve people processes, colleague experience and service delivery.

This is a full time role working 37 hours per week.
We're flexible on where you're based – you can work from any of our Bromford, Flagship, LiveWest offices including Norwich, Tewkesbury, Exeter and Weston-super-Mare. This is a hybrid role, with a mix of home and office working. From time to time, you may be asked to visit another office to support colleagues or attend meetings, although this is expected to be infrequent.
This is a permanent position with a salary of £37,500 - £42,500 per annum.

- Experience providing generalist HR support in a busy operational environment.

- Experience working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience supporting recruitment and wider people processes.
Essential Knowledge
- Good knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation.
- Understanding of employee relations processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of HR policies and their practical application.
- Understanding of workforce planning and organisational change principles.
Essential Qualifications
- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent experience.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified, working towards CIPD Level 5, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.

Desirable Experience
- Experience working within a large multi-site organisation.

- CIPD Level 5 fully qualified.
