We are currently looking for a Clinical Assistant to join our growing between our three branches - Frinton - on Sea, Manningtree and Hadleigh - on a practice and field job role. This is an excellent opportunity for any one willing to have training to become a clinical Assistant to take the next step in their career by joining the practice. In this store you would be providing high quality eye care to the local community, assisted by our team you will have access to completely up-to-date technologies and systems enabling you to work both efficiently and effectively. The practice can provide a multitude of development opportunities through both clinical and commercial training, over time this can lead to progression throughout the company.
The vacancy available is for a Clinical Assistant. The duties included in this role are;
- Meeting and greeting customers
- Registering patients
- Ensuring a smooth and friendly handover to the optician
- Using optical knowledge to dispense to all levels
- Fitting and repairing spectacles
- Front of house duties including sales
- Understanding and Learning Clinical skills in the Optical and Audiology background
- Field base - Visiting patients in their home to provide the service at home
- Field Base - leaflet campaigns
We are an independent practice and we are looking for a friendly, team-focused candidate who is outgoing and personable. With the ability to be able to work upto 5 days per week in a warm friendly environment. Full training is provided

- Previous job experience in a opticians is preferred for this role.
- GCSE grades C or higher in English and Maths
- Must be a excellent communicator
- Driving licence is essential
