The Vacancy
TPT Retirement Solutions are looking for a proactive Lead Pension Administrator to deliver high-quality pension scheme administration within the Annual Events & Projects area of the business. You’ll ensure timely, accurate data for stakeholders and help manage day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver excellent customer service to colleagues, members, and employers.
Maintain accurate member and employer data.
Handle delegated tasks and check data and project work.
Manage scheme events (valuations, benefit statements, pension increases, annual allowance, group life assurance) on schedule.
Support and train junior team members.
Prioritise workloads for yourself and the team to meet service levels.
Ensure all timetabled tasks are completed, even in the Team Leader’s absence.
Check the quality and quantity of your own and team’s work.
Develop and follow procedures for scheme events and data checks.
Suggest process improvements and lead team meetings.
Support appraisals and probation reviews as needed.
Handle complaints with the Technical Team.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience within Defined Benefit pensions and benefit calculations.
Able to support less experienced members of the team in a coaching capacity.
Good level of communication skills and able to prioritise own & others workload.
Intermediate level experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel.
GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades C / 4 or above in Maths and English.
Studying towards/completed CPC/ DPA/CPA would be ideal.
Demonstrates enthusiasm for the job and able to work using own initiative.
Able to work under pressure and adapt to changes within the workplace.
