About the OrganisationGlencassels Community Development Project is a well established community organisation located in Craigneuk. Our small neighbourhood centre, known locally as The Venny provides a range of recreational, social and educational activities for people of all ages living in the community.Role: Admin Assistant

9 hours per week

Part-time – 42 weeks of the year

Reporting to: Children’s Worker

About the Role

You will support the delivery of safe, engaging, and inclusive activities for children and young people attending The Venny. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a positive environment where young people feel welcomed, respected, and encouraged to participate.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and making a positive difference within the community.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of after-school and evening youth activities
Build positive relationships with children and young people
Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
Encourage participation and engagement in activities
Work positively as part of the wider staff and volunteer team
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational procedures
Support the wider work and events of The Venny where appropriate

Person SpecificationWe Are Looking For People Who:

Are able to commit to two sessions weekly
Are flexible and willing to support wider community activities

Previous experience of working with children or young people is welcomed but not essential for the right candidate.
