Full job description

Are you passionate about caring for both people and their pets? We’re looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and proactive individual to join our fantastic team!

We are a family-owned, independent group of practices who believe that providing an exceptional client experience is just as important as providing outstanding pet healthcare.

The role will be predominantly face to face and dealing with the phone, interacting with people and their pets. We won't have you stuck behind a desk, you will be able to move around our superb waiting pods and have a cuddle with the pets, which we think is a much better way to spend the day!

There will also be administrative duties, and being a veterinary practice, no two days are the same!

As a Head Receptionist, you will assist our Clinic Director and Head Nurse by ensuring the front-of-house runs smoothly so that we can provide the best quality client care. This will include managing the reception team, conducting one-to-ones, reception team rota, and general administrative duties.

Experience in the veterinary industry and previous leadership experience is preferred.

37.5 hours per week
Shifts range from 8.30am–4.30pm to 11am–7pm
1:4 Saturday mornings 8.30am-1pm
From £27,000 per annum (opportunity to increase to £31,000 with our industry-leading Care Coordinator Development Plan)
