Position Overview
· Cross referencing specification to work completed to capture variations
· Obtaining tender prices from suppliers and sub-contractors
· Compiling sub-contract orders, and their subsequent issuing to contractors
· Forward prices, program, details and lead times to building team
· Update estimating library to reflect up to date pricing and costs
· Take off / surveying from 1st principles
· Assisting with cost and value reconciliation on all items
· Oversee spend on in-house and sub-contract labour, and material procurement
· Prepare Cost Value Comparison (Profit & Loss)
· Delivering engaging, informative and well-organized presentations to new and existing clients for specific and new projects
· Fortnightly / monthly re-measures and valuations / monthly / quarterly CVRs
Experience
· Proven background within Estimating / Quantity Surveying
· Comprehensive knowledge in various contract terms and conditions
· A degree/HNC in a related subject would be advantageous
· Experiences within retrofit, Renewables and new builds
· Experience of working for a Subcontractor / Contractor
