Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our vibrant bar environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive experience in food and beverage service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the team in delivering an outstanding experience for our guests. The position offers an excellent opportunity for career progression within the hospitality sector, requiring a proactive approach and a keen eye for detail.

this is a very busy site with multiple floors so great organisational skills will be needed.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the bar team to ensure efficient service delivery and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction.
Oversee food preparation and ensure all beverages are prepared according to company standards.
Manage daily operations, including stock control, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist with cooking and food production when necessary, supporting the culinary team during busy periods.
Train and mentor team members to develop their skills in serving, hospitality, and food safety practices.
Ensure the bar area is organised, clean, and well-stocked at all times.
Monitor customer interactions to maintain a welcoming atmosphere and resolve any issues promptly.
Implement health and safety procedures in line with legal requirements and company policies.
Collaborate with management to plan promotions or special events that enhance guest experience.

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or bar environment.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards.
Experience in team management or leadership roles within hospitality settings.
Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations is desirable.
Previous experience working as a barista or in serving roles is advantageous.
Familiarity with hospitality industry regulations and best practices in food safety.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
