We are seeking a professional and personable Spa Therapist to join our Head Spa & wellness spa.
The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering high quality treatments and guest services, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about relaxation , well-being, and hospitality to develop their skills within a warm and tranquil environment.
The Spa Therapist will be responsible for providing head spa services (training provided), massage, facials and more (experience/qualification required). You will be expected to maintain high standards of customer care and contribute to the overall ambience of our spa.
During any time out of appointments you will contribute to general spa maintenance and customer communications.
This is a part time opportunity where weekend work is essential, Saturday's and Sunday's. Approximately 10–16 hours consistently at weekends, and additional hours midweek (Wednesday’s & Thursday’s, possibly Tuesday’s in the future) - based on demand and as bookings and client base grows. Potential for more in the future or occasionally if covering staff absence etc
Duties
- Delivering a variety of treatments including Japanese Head Spa, massage, facials with professionalism and care.
- Providing outstanding client services by understanding individual needs and recommending suitable treatments or products.
- Managing front desk operations including booking appointments, greeting clients, and handling enquiries.
- Upselling products and services
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in treatment rooms and communal areas.
- Assisting with management tasks related to scheduling, inventory control, and social media management to promote the spa’s offerings
Skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Handling guest interactions efficiently
- Trained in massage.
- Proficiency in massage is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to enhance client engagement
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating individual initiative
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in treatment delivery and administrative tasks
