Scuffed Up Ltd is a fast-growing, customer-focused accident repair centre, carrying out both insurance and private vehicle repairs. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality repairs alongside exceptional customer service, ensuring every customer feels supported from the moment they book in until they collect their vehicle.
We're looking for a friendly, organised and professional Receptionist / Administrator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a key role in creating an excellent customer experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our busy bodyshop. You'll manage customer communication throughout the entire repair journey, ensuring customers remain informed and confident while their vehicle is with us.
Responsibilities:
Welcoming customers into the repair centre with a professional and friendly approach.
Answering incoming telephone calls and responding promptly to emails.
Booking vehicles in for repair and arranging vehicle collections.
Keeping customers updated throughout every stage of their repair by telephone, email and text.
Liaising with technicians, estimators, insurers and suppliers to ensure accurate customer updates.
Managing courtesy vehicle bookings and associated paperwork.
Preparing job packs and maintaining accurate customer records.
Following up outstanding paperwork where required.
Supporting the office team with general administration.
Maintaining a clean, organised and professional reception area.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a reception, customer service or administrative role.
Excellent communication skills with a warm, professional manner.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a busy environment.
Good computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
A proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
Experience within the accident repair and automotive industry would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
