Fire & Security Engineer

Location:

Glasgow and Surrounding Areas

Salary:

£33,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Job Type:

Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of a wide range of fire and security systems across commercial, industrial, and domestic premises.

Key Responsibilities

Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of:
Fire Alarm Systems
Intruder Alarm Systems
CCTV Systems
Access Control Systems
Emergency Lighting Systems
Diagnosing and rectifying faults efficiently.
Completing service reports and certification accurately.
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professional client relationships.
Ensuring all work complies with current industry standards and regulations.
Participating in an on-call rota when required.

Requirements

Previous experience within the fire and security industry.
Good knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

FIA Training
ECS/CSCS Card
IPAF
Manufacturer certifications (Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, Honeywell, Advanced, Kentec, etc.)
