Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Qualified Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to execute precise installations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate electrical work within larger construction or maintenance projects.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for accountability and future reference.
- Ensure all work adheres to local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Respond promptly to emergency repairs or system failures to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
Experience
- Proven experience as a qualified electrician with a strong background in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and voltage testers.
- Skilled in operating power tools including drills, saws, and conduit benders safely and effectively.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices within the industry.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics with precision.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local regulations is highly preferred.
