Full job description

Job Title: Private hire taxi Driver

Hours: 30-50 hours a week

Your Role

As a valued member of our team, you’ll provide safe and reliable transport for whoever is in your taxi. This will include school runs, airport work as well as other local runs and contract work. You’ll be responsible for:

Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from locations
Building professional, friendly relationships with passengers
Following safety procedures and company guidelines at all times

You will be provided with a private hire taxi and fuel card. No day will be the same with a mixture of early morning airports, evening pub runs and everything in between, we require you to work every other weekend and overtime will be offered.

What You Need

A valid UK driving licence (car category)
Be over the age of 25 for fleet insurance.
Confidence in driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided)
Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check (criminal record check)
The right to work in the UK
South Somerset taxi badge (we can help if you don’t have one yet)
