Contracts Administrator

About the role
We're a specialty medical paper manufacturer based in Cumbria, looking for a sharp graduate to join our operations team and take ownership of our contracts function. Your focus will predominantly be employee contracts, alongside supply agreements, key commercial documentation, and time and attendance administration. You'll work closely with our leadership team on matters that directly impact the business.
What you'll do
- Draft, review, and manage employee contracts, including new hires, variations, and leaver documentation
- Review supply agreements and other significant commercial contracts
- Manage contract administration and filing
- Support payroll and time and attendance processes
- Assist with recruitment coordination as required
- Work with our finance and operations teams on statutory and compliance matters
What we're looking for
- A 2:1 or above from a Russell Group or equivalent quality university
- Strong A-levels
- A demonstrated ability to think clearly and work with precision
- Detail-oriented, quick to learn, and comfortable taking ownership of important work
- Commercial awareness is a plus, but not essential if you're sharp and hungry to develop
This is a graduate-level role, and we're equally open to candidates with postgraduate qualifications or early career experience.
