Customer Service Advisor – Full-Time Temporary Contract

Pay: £13.01 per hour
Contract: Full-time, 4-month temporary contract with opportunity to become permanent
Location: Telford
Work Location: In person

The Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our well-established Customer Service team on a full-time, four-month temporary contract.

This role offers the opportunity to become a permanent position for individuals who demonstrate strong performance, reliability and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Working within a busy and supportive environment, you will be responsible for assisting customers across a range of channels, helping with orders, answering enquiries and resolving issues efficiently and professionally.

Full training will be provided to ensure you have the knowledge and confidence needed to deliver the high standard of service our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities

Handling inbound and outbound customer calls regarding orders and enquiries
Responding to customer queries through our customer service ticketing system
Processing telephone and mail orders accurately
Assisting customers with product, order and delivery enquiries
Managing and resolving customer complaints professionally and efficiently
Updating customer records with accuracy and attention to detail
Working with internal teams to resolve customer queries
Escalating complex or sensitive enquiries when required
Ensuring customers receive a consistently high standard of service

What We’re Looking For

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A professional, friendly and confident telephone manner
A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
Ability to remain calm, positive and professional under pressure
Previous experience within customer service, administration or a call centre environment is preferred
Good Microsoft Office and data-entry skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
A proactive approach to resolving customer queries and problems

Contract Details

Full-time position
Four-month temporary contract
Opportunity to become permanent following the temporary contract
Hourly Rate: £13.01 per hour
