Job Ref: 339726
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. There are three shift patterns available for this role and your preference will be discussed at the interview .

Option 1: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday, 07:00 - 17:00
Option 2: Wednesday to Saturday, 07:00 - 17:00
Option 3: Monday, Wednesday to Saturday, 07:00 - 17:00

Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Shrewsbury Depot, SY4 4UP

Why this role pays off:

Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
Paid weekday and weekend overtime
Additional Allowances:-

o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
o Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

Plus:

What you’ll be doing

Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes
Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks
Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses
Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail

What we’re looking for

A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused
Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
