Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plumber / Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and pipefitting techniques, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Current job based in Westgate on Sea, working on a new build development, with the aim to complete job within 3 months. Potential for further job opportunities with the company.
Monday-Friday 8-4pm.

Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems for water, gas, and other fluids.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform stick welding and soldering as required for pipe connections.
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and carry out necessary repairs.
- Build and maintain fixtures such as taps, valves, and other plumbing components.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
- Apply basic maths skills to measure and cut pipes accurately.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a plumber or pipefitter is essential. NVQ level 2 in Plumbing
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to plumbing work.
- Strong skills in stick welding, soldering, and general welding techniques.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Driving license / ability to get to site with tools.
- Must hold a UTR number
