Full job description

FDL are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our established and growing firm based at Lomond House, Kirkcaldy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a strong background in Scottish residential conveyancing who is looking to take ownership of a varied caseload while delivering exceptional service to clients across Fife and beyond.

The Role:

You will manage a broad range of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, providing practical and commercially focused advice to clients throughout the process.Key responsibilities include:-

Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
Handling purchases, sales, remortgages, transfers of title and new build transactions
Maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders and other professional contacts
Ensuring transactions progress efficiently and compliantly
Supporting the continued growth and success of the residential property department
Delivering an outstanding client experience and maintaining the firm's strong local reputation

About You:

We are looking for a solicitor who can demonstrate:-

Qualified Solicitor in Scotland holding a current practising certificate
Significant experience in residential conveyancing
Strong technical knowledge of Scottish property law and conveyancing procedures
The ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and client care skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
A proactive, professional and commercially aware approach
Desire to progress within the firm to senior position
