Job Title: Teacher of French
Location: Rugby
Salary: £175 - £255 per day (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full Time

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher of French looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed French Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Rugby. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will be joining a supportive school environment where professional development, collaboration, and high-quality teaching are highly valued.

The Role

As a Teacher of French, you will:

Deliver engaging and inspiring French lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Foster pupils' confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports progress for all learners.
Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing effective feedback to support attainment.
Contribute to the continued development of the French curriculum and departmental initiatives.
Promote an appreciation of French language and culture through enrichment activities and wider learning opportunities.

About You

The successful candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards achieving it.
Have the ability to teach French across KS3 and KS4.
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for language learning.
Have high expectations of student achievement, behaviour, and engagement.
Be an effective classroom practitioner with excellent communication skills.
Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a successful and supportive team.
Be committed to delivering an inclusive and inspiring educational experience for all students.
