EXPERIENCED MOTOR VEHICLE MECHANIC WANTED

Salary: £35,000–£45,000 per annum (depending on experience), plus performance bonus and paid overtime.

Location: Campbells of Deal Ltd – Deal, Kent

Are you an experienced mechanic looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential and a respected local business?

Campbells of Deal Ltd is a well-established automotive company with a reputation for quality workmanship, outstanding customer service and investing in its team. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated full-time Motor Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy workshop.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary of £35,000–£45,000 depending on experience

Ongoing training and development, including MOT training for the right candidate

The Role:

Service, maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles
Carry out diagnostics and fault-finding
Perform vehicle inspections
Identify mechanical and electrical faults
Replace components and carry out repairs
Maintain accurate job records
Work to high standards of workmanship and safety
Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers

What We’re Looking For:

Strong experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience working with vehicle systems
MOT qualification (advantageous)
Relevant motor vehicle qualifications or vocational training (essential)
Previous workshop or dealership experience
Ability to read technical manuals and diagnostic reports
Strong work ethic, attention to detail and commitment to quality
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Successful applicant must have their own tools
