Whether you're an experienced childcare professional or have transferable experience working with children, we'd love to hear from you.
Shift Times
Breakfast Club
- 7.00am or 7.15am – 9.00am
After School Club
- 3.00pm – 6.00pm or 6.15pm
You can apply for Breakfast Club, After School Club or both.
A minimum commitment of two shifts per week is required. Additional hours may be available to cover holidays, training and staff absence.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Playworker, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for every child by:
- Welcoming children into a safe and happy environment.
- Planning and leading fun, engaging activities including arts and crafts, games, outdoor play and creative projects.
- Encouraging children's confidence, independence and friendships.
- Preparing and serving simple breakfasts and afternoon snacks.
- Supporting children's wellbeing and ensuring they feel included.
- Building positive relationships with parents, school staff and colleagues.
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety at all times.
- Helping to set up and tidy away equipment and activity areas.

Qualifications & Experience
We welcome applications from both qualified and unqualified candidates.
Essential
- A genuine passion for working with children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare or Playwork qualification.
- Experience working in a school, nursery, wraparound care, holiday club, sports coaching or similar childcare setting.
- Paediatric First Aid (training can be provided).
- Food Hygiene Certificate (training can be provided).
